Comments: Verrocchio's sculpture not only depicts Lorenzo de'Midici but his whole family and everything that they stood for. Extreem wealth, power and pride can be seen in the eyes of Lorenzo, yet with a gentle upturned mouth, his character becomes soft and real. I enjoy that the face of Lorenzo de'Medici will be here for all of us to see for eternity. Artists can use their natural imagination to take themselves back to that time. What splendor it must have been!!
