Comments: I really like the effect of this artwork,
his use of the chiaroscuro method is greatly
expressed here and in doing this he has created a perfect study of an old man.

Comments: I think Da Vinci's knowlege of anatomy truly allows him to express features in his paintings that otherwise, would not be so obvious. The sketch has a cartoonish yet extremely lifelike quality to it that only Da Vinci could master.

Comments: I believe that this piece of art is sentimentle becuase it would seem as though the artist painted it of himself in years to come or currently. The man is elderly, warn down, and seems to be stripped of wills.
