Comments: I am a university student and I found this painting whilst looking for iconography of Cain and Abel. From the painting I assume that Cain is the man who is carrying the crops and that Abel is the man astride the sheep, as he sacrificed a lamb to God later on. However, I am curious to know if anyone has ideas on who the other people are? Any help would be very welcome.

Comments: I'm pretty sure that the man in the background in the red robes is Noah, becuase he is seen wearing the same red robes in the drunkenness of noah. and I also believe that is why this scene of the ceiling is commonly known as the Sacrifice of Noah, even though the sequence of the ceiling suggests it is the Sacrifice of Cain and Abel.
