Comments: Duke Lorenzo De MEDICI,like his brother Giuliano ,is shown as a handsome,strongly built young man.Even though the eyes are empty sockets, Lorenzo's face,wears the look of serious contemplation.The way his hand is cupped under the chin,tells of either serious thought,or idlle dreaming.
His headdress is very ornate and picturesque.
His body seems relaxed,although the feet and legs' position,seem out of step with the rest of the pose.
The sculptures of Dusk and Dawn are below the niche of Lorenzo De Medici.
One would think the two Dukes,(brothers) would have been shown together in a single sculpture.
