Comments: This painting is depicting the virgin mary holding baby Jesus surrounded by kings and pagans and angels. This piece is very interesting due to the fact that Botticelli is portraying a woman who appears to Mary in a kings house sitiing on the trown instead of in a manger. It's a nice piece of art work.

It leaves me feeling as if I should be bowing before her, her beauty is stunning, and the color and precision of each character is absolutley remarkable... It's like your in the painting, and actually a part of that world.

Comments: This spectacular painting shows that Sandro Botticelli was a faithful man of God. Like most people and artists of the middle-ages, he was a strong Believer. Here he shows Mary holding Christ in the chapel of a Kings-house, instead of a manger, which shows Botticelli's belief in the fact that Jesus is King.
